The cards state: P. Bacher, Musician, Teacher of Violin, Cornet, Mandolin and Guitar; Studio, 1921 Park Street, Alameda. Underneath is typed: Alameda, Ca., December, 1905. Size: L 11” x W 8 1/2” History of Object: print out of scanned calling cards of Peter Bacher from December 1905, likely holding a cornet, mandolin, and guitar. Mr. Bacher was a renowned musician in his native Denmark, and moved to Alameda in the early 1900s, where he and his family lived at a house where they planted date trees which grew to impressive size, at 1921 Park Street, long since demolished.
