Mimeographed typed flyer stating 'What Shall We See at the Exposition'; Stationery sample of letter (E) and envelope (F) of the California commission of the Golden Gate International Exposition. Size: various History of Object: Letter addressed to Mrs. C.W. Martin, with inclusions, which appears to have originally accompanied a set of tickets for the Girl Scout Day, May 13, 1939, at the Golden Gate International Exposition. Mrs. Martin had submitted the list of proposed recipients for the Alameda Girls Scout groups. 3000 participants tickets had been handed out by the organizers, but the demand for them from all over California exceeded the supply, however generous.
