Hard bound book with green colored buckram covered cover, incised gold lettering stating "Practical Lessons in Architectural Drawing." The frontispiece page is stamped with the name 'Henry H. Meyers' within lines forming a banner.
Size: L-7 X W-11 1/2 inches.
History of Object: Book entitled "Practical Lessons in Architectural Drawing," by Wm. B. Tuthill, architect. Printed in 1881 by Wm. T. Comstock, architectural publisher. The stamp was one used early in the career of Alameda County Architect and long-time Alameda resident Henry H. Meyers, identifying it as having been in his possession at one point.
