History of Object: Papers found in the attic of City Hall, originally in a folder, discarded in 2011, marked on the folder tab with ‘Estuary Bridges’, pertaining to the Estuary Bridges, and their maintenance and operation. Documents were marked with letters in 2011, and include: A- Map of the East Bay; B- (2 copies) Report On Bridges Three Upper Estuary Bridges; C-L: correspondence between City Manager Clifton E. Hickok and organizations such as the Alameda County Board of Supervisors, the War Department, Port of Oakland, Mayor Otis, Alaska Packers Association, etc. N-resolutions for Bridge Repair and Government Responsibility; R. Progressive Reports. V; May 16, 1928: response to George Posey plan to move the Webster Street Bridge to serve as Bay Farm Island Bridge, and April 1926 clipping about crash of Davenport into Park Street bridge.
