Description: A black-and-white postcard, featuring people sitting in the shade of cloth awnings or sitting on sand, 2 under an umbrella, one of whom is wearing a torso-covering bathing suit. Behind a building on the left a roller coaster can be seen. Title in typed capital letters in the bottom left: 'Under the awnings on the Beach Neptune Beach Alameda Cal.'. Reverse is printed upside-down.
Size: L 3 1/2 x W 5 1/2 inches.
History of Object: A postcard of the awnings at Neptune Beach. Judging by the shortened skirt length and hats decorated with only ribbons, this might be a later date.
