No. 81.267.13 Subject Category: Businesses, Dairy Date or Period: Circa 1920 Object: Bottle, milk Description: Half pint milk bottle, raised lettering in circular-like label stating "Island Creamery, F. H. Daniel, 1350 Park St., Ala.", and half pint written above label. The bottle has a protruding lip with recessed ledge for supporting paper top. Impressed on the base of the bottle is the manufacturer's trademark of a diamond enclosing a capital T. Size: 5½" tall, and base 2½" across. History of Object: Bottle found in old dump near Bay Farm Island Bridge. The glass has a cloudy film from being exposed to salt water. Excavated by donors.
