Description: A. a booklet with tan card stock cover, bound with tan thread, featuring a decorated monogram 'AC' in gold with green leaves, and 'in gold type '1907-'08'. Stamped upside down is 'C. H. Lessig'. B. (inside A): an off-white sheet of paper which, folded, had been stamped and addressed to Mrs. Charles Lessig, 1503 Walnut St., post date-stamped 1905; the contents are headed with 'Adelphian Club' and '1905-May Bulletin-1905'. C. a booklet with grey card stock cover, bound with grey cord, featuring a decorated monogram 'AC' in gold with green leaves, and 1911-1913. D. (inside C): information sheet, printed one-sided on yellow paper, stating 'Adelphian Club', and '1912-October-1912'.
Sizes: A, C: L 8" x 5", B: (unfolded): L 9" x W 6"; D (unfolded): L 15 1/2" x W 6 1/4".
History of Object: 1907 - 1908 and 1911 - 1913 yearbooks of the Adelphian Club, founded 1897, and bulletins of May 1905 and October 1912. . The Martin family may have found these booklets in their home at 1419 Mound street, which they had bought from the Lessig family.
