Description: Silver plated pin with raised lettering (caption) stating "Daughters of St. George which supports a celluloid bar stating members rank. Attached to this is a circular medallion (celluloid covered lithograph) of St. George slaying the dragon. These in turn are backed by a striped silk ribbon (in red, white & blue colors).
History of Object: Members badge "Daughters of St. George" (a fraternal order of ladies of English extraction). Alameda chapter (Golden Poppy Lodge) founded Dec. 14, 1922, disbanded 1976.
