Stamp, with postal stamp of the World's Panama Pacific Exposition, and sender address handwritten in blue fountain pen on front. Caption in red: Alameda, Cal - Typical Residence. Quality Series, marked with a bear logo and 'P.N.C.'; published by Pacific Novelty Company, San Francisco, Made in Germany. 3 corners have been cut or torn off. Size: L 3 1/2" x W 5 1/2" History of Object: Postcard of the mansion, built in 1889, which stood at 1540 Central Ave (lot bounded by Central, Paru, and Alameda). Torn down in 1940 to make place for apartments. Appears to have been sent to a Mr. George Konckukji, in Brooklyn, New York, by Jessie E.
