Description: Two ceramic figurines, molded and painted to suggest they are wearing WWI uniforms in mostly brown. Some of the color has worn off. On the reverse is incised 'Made in Japan'.
Size (each): L 3 inches.
History of Object: A pair of figurines in World War I-style uniforms, produced during the time frame when imports from Japan were required to have the country and 'Made In' documented, circa 1921-1941. The figurines were found in the basement of 2849 Jackson St.
