On one side an emblem of a square cross surrounded by a wreath has been engraved. Bottom has stamped in italics (with left side impression moved): ‘Alameda Sanatorium’. Underneath maker’s stamp: GORHAM, with anchor in shield, 119 E P and mercury’s (winged) foot with toes to left. Number 011802, 8 OZ. Size: Height approx. 5 1/2”, W (handle to spout) 5”, Diameter foot 2 3/4”. History of Object: 8 OZ creamer for the Alameda Sanatorium, which opened in 1925.
