History of Object: Refoldered documents found in the attic of City Hall in the 1990s. Documents relate to:
A. #221, 1928-1932: delivery lists for special council meetings, with council members’ addresses.
B.#224, 1928-1931, relates to signs, including requests, including one by Sidney Dowling and Son, who were constructing 30 homes on Otis (1931); protests, and an opinion by City Attorney Silver, that posting of election signs on private property could not be prohibited.
C. miscellaneous correspondence to City, including a complaint, on stationery, by the Encinal Yacht Club about crude oil ending up on the beaches, suspecting Navy vessels (#222, 1928), and complaints about the gong at Mastick Tower (#227, 1928)
