Heavy linen trimmed with red wool material. On the right it says "40" in brass letters. On the opposite side it says No. meaning the lodge number. The inside has stamp that says "J.M.Litchfield, and Company. 12 Post Street, San Francisco".
Size: 19" long 4" at widest point.
