History of Object: Deed of Property located at the southeast corner of High and Madison Streets and the northwest corner of High and Encinal between Casper H. Mason with Bernard Lambert. Dr. Lambert was a pioneer and his home was located at Encinal and High Streets. His daughter subsequently married George Manley who had the Lambert home demolished and a commercial structure erected in 1891 now known as 1301-05 High Street. Object given to the Museum in 1959 by a descendant of Dr. Lambert and never catalogued.
