Description: Collection of miscellaneous chromo lithograph greeting cards mounted on gold paper, under glass, and arranged in a gesso &c gilt antique frame.
Size: L-18 x W-12 inches.
History of Object:
Collection of framed greeting cards given to Bertha May (native of Alvarado, Cal.), subsequent to her marriage in 1894 to Henry H. Meyers. The cards were framed by her daughter, Jeanette. The cards have been housed in the family residence (2021 Alameda Avenue) since 1897.
