Acc. No. 84.32.4 a & b Subject Category: Transportation, Electric Date or period: Before 1920 Object: Button (2) Description: Nickel plated button (2) with raised letters "S.P.". On the reverse side impressed in brass is the manufacturer’s name "B. Pasquale Co., S. Fran., Cal", and a protruding brass shank. Size: 1 inch diameter. History of Object: Buttons from the uniform of Harry Hall, gateman, Southern Pacific Red Trains, Alameda, Ca. He was employed some 15 years by the company, until his death. The son of Edward S. & Bertha Hall, old time residents of the East End, and brother of the late Grace Hall Smith. Acquired from: Albert Smith Date: 9-21-84
