Description: Presentation folder with cover of thick faux-leather embossed paper, dark brown outside and black inside, binding documents together with three brads. A label is attached to the front. Inside is a report, including a folded map and photos.

History of Object: Appraisal report ‘of sewer easement located along northerly line of the John Huston property located westerly of Webster Street, Alameda, California, Parcel 3’. Prepared ‘For Mr. Carl Froerer, City Manager’, dated May 7, 1951, appraised by H.W. Jewett, M.A.I., in Oakland. Found in the attic of City Hall. The photos included depict the Island Auto Movie Theater. The map shows location of the property, Thau Street, and S.P.R.R. and Belt Line easements. Purpose was to establish the cost of acquiring the easement, to connect a sewer from the US Housing project, located immediately adjoining the property to the east, to the ‘new EBMUD sanitary sewer system’ along Webster Street.
