The back of the rocker has a gallery of lathe-turned spindles that are repeated on supports to the projecting chair arms. The seat and backrest are upholstered in what appears to be hand done floral needlepoint work. Size: H-46” Seat: D-21” x W-23” History of Object: A parlor rocker that belonged to Giovanni Zanaria and family who in 1917 purchased their residence at 1810 Taylor Street.
