Size: Brass seal, C-1 1/4 inches, L-4 inches. History of Object: Brass seal used to imprint wax. The wax was used to seal money bags that were sent from the Alameda Mole (containing commuter fares) to the accounting office of the Southern Pacific Company, San Francisco.
