Description: An American-made clear pressed glass pitcher with patterns that are deeply pressed and four matching tumblers; the pitcher still has some of the original gilting intact.

History of Object: A pitcher and tumbler set belonging to the George Carvalho family, whom in 1951, purchased a home on Fernside Blvd., Alameda, still occupied by the family. Three of the sons attended Alameda schools.
