History:
Genealogy of John Barton, early resident of Alameda. Mr. Barton was the president of the Union Pacific Salt Co., San Francisco, and occupied a mansion that stood at the present site of the Hotel Alameda. The genealogy was composed by his granddaughter, given to the Alameda Museum in 1974, and never catalogued.
