Description: Brown expanding file folder, filled with documents to c. 2 3/4” thick, with a tan label stamped “73”. Documents are marked on the back by hand with ‘73’ and a sequence number, or stamped ‘Pouch No File No’ with ‘73’ and a sequence number. Some documents are stamped with ‘Received’ or ‘Filed’ and a date. Documents have varying sizes and some are glued together, and/or gathered with staples and/or brads, some with a backing of light blue construction paper.
Size Folder: L 14 3/4” X W 9”
History of Object: Expanding Folder, found in the attic of City Hall prior to renovations in the 1990s. Documents in this ‘Pouch’ pertain to contracts related to Parks; contract with Carl Werner to build a bath house at Washington Park; change in lease of Washington Park Candy Concession; changing surface of the Tennis Courts at Washington Park; change of the beach surface and seawall at Washington Park.
