Petitions and complaints and City Attorney opinion about gambling and slot machines, including proceedings against William Zingg including for sale of cigarettes; request by Judge Tappan, who had one arm from falling on railroad tracks as a child and getting run over, for a filing cabinet; proceedings to form a new charter; accidental death at a railroad crossing of a sprinkling wagon driver, and structural damage report on buildings in Alameda after the 1906 Earthquake., condemnation or Armory Hall, and delay in establishing a ferry service because of the earthquake.
