History of Object: Historical narrative by Charles J. Fox born in Alameda February 14, 1863. Mr. Fox was raised in the vicinity of Broadway in the East End. His brother, Percy Fox, was an early mail carrier. The narrative makes reference to people and events in the City before 1900. Donated in February 1952 to the Alameda Historical Society and never catalogued. It is a very early part of the collection as the Museum was established in 1951.
