The offices and tank building of the Artesian Water Company was erected in 1880 and designed by William Patton, architect. Cost, $42,000. Demolished, July 1955, the walls of the building were five feet thick to support a tank containing 240,000 gallons of water. Water was piped from Thompson Avenue where the wells were located
