The body of the boxes is covered with a paper that is finished so that it appears to be fabric. The surface is in two shades of green. American made. Sizes: (A) D-12 1/2 x W-8 x H-30 inches; (B) D-13 x W-13 x H-28 inches. (Note: the top drawer of box B has a divided interior for various lingerie items.) History of Object: Storage boxes for shoes and other objects used by the Meyers family. Acquired from: Meyers estate. Date: 01/10/13

1/27/2024 MvL: current sign (for 13.1.35, 13.1.36, 13.1.37 and 13.1.39) BOUDOIR FURNISHINGS Hanging shoe caddy, plus a 4-drawer lingerie chest and two 4-drawer shoe chests, c. 1950's. All of these were used by the Meyers sisters. Striped boudoir chair with original upholstery, which also belonged to the Meyers sisters.
