L 14 1/2" x 9" History of Object: Folder with documents, found in the attic of City Hall in the 1990s, refoldered in 2012. The documents are ordered more or less chronologically, and pertain to: salary increases for city employees, with mayor Bartlett not endorsing the increase for Street Superintendent Frodden; extension of Fernside Boulevard; expansion or rebuild of Porter School; death of Wm. Hammond, Sr., death of former Trustee Board president Joseph Franklin Forderer; raiding by the police of a Chinese gambling house; use of City Hall rooms by G.A.R. and Camp Bartlett veterans and Joe Hooker Post No. 1; instruction to create maps with location of fire hydrants - one of these is in the museum collection; street improvements, sewers, and steps to the beach at Weber Street, and a gang of boys damaging gardens backing to McKinley Park; correspondence about a bascule bridge across the Estuary.
