Description: A high glazed pottery insulator, the top of which has a mushroom shaped dome with ridges as part of the design. The glaze transitions from a brown color to black.
Size: H-3 1/4 x Diam: 4 inches.
History of Object: An insulator used by the Alameda Bureau of Electricity. It was acquired from Delbert Lloyd, a lineman for the Bureau of Electricity for some 37 years; he resided at 1225 Walnut Street.
