Size folder: L 14 3/4” X W 9” History of Object: Folder with documents relating to garbage collection 1919-1920, including accounting of garbage weighted by A.H.W. Koerber, 2314 Santa Clara, and sold to the Pacific Hog Company, shortages in number of barrels for the collection and a missed pick-up at Neptune Beach, a request for information from San Jose, request for compensation for loss of contract by Lekos brothers, who collected from the Union Hotel run by Mrs. Pereira, near the Bethlehem Shipyards, voided by the City Ordinance; and a health issue with garbage for chickens at 1549 Mozart Street. City Manager, C. E. Hewes. Documents were found in the attic of City Hall in the 1990s in an old folder, which was discarded in 2011 upon donation to the museum.
