The papers in this folder pertain to access roads through Alameda or connecting to the larger Bay Area road network, and include: a blue-print map of the East Bay with a proposed tunnel and highway to Lafayette; maps (one blueprint style) of connections to the County Road towards San Leandro; correspondence regarding Transbay ferries, including a history of talks with the Southern Pacific Company and Golden Gate Ferry company regarding car ferries to San Francisco by C. E. Clifton, and reports of studies into traffic statistics; and newspaper clippings.
