Amaral Jr. at the family bicycle shop, 1255 Park Street, as a promotional object to be used in parades. The bike was donated to the Alameda Historical Society in 1984 by Louise Grazini Amaral Bell. It was subsequently ridden in the 1990 Mayor's 4th of July Parade by then Museum Treasurer Jerry Lanzit and 5 volunteers, and won 2nd prize that year.
