History of Object:
Documents originally were in a folder with a green label on the tab stating: “Police Department - Radio System”. Documents include an Experimental Radio Station Construction Permit, 1938, corner Santa Clara & Oak, conform the 1934 Communications Act; and approval for 14 stations, including cars; and preliminary correspondence, bills, decisions, and brochures. City Manager Chas. R. Schwanenberg.
Documents were found in the attic of City Hall in the 1990s in an old folder, which was discarded in 2011 upon donation to the museum.
