Oval shaped serving tray, wood, with inlay work depicting flowers (poppies) in the art nouveau style. Signed "Gallé". Bowed wood border forming handles with pierced handle grips.
Size: W-23 x L-14 inches.
History of Object: French serving tray produced by the noted artist of the art nouveau style, Émile Gallé. It was originally owned by M/M Neil Macdonald, 2066 San Jose Avenue. They were old-time residents of Alameda.
