History of Object: A painting of Anderson's Wharf which is an iconic image of a building supported on a wharf on the eastside of San Leandro Bay near the current Bay Farm Island Bridge. The wharf originally was used to house skiffs from Alameda and Bay Farm Island that transported produce to San Francisco markets.
