Description: Hard bound book, covered in paper to appear green-and-tan marbled. Front cover has a big X drawn on it. Spine and corners are black leather-look buckram, spine has remnants of incised gold lines, and a label ‘B’. Inside are paper clippings of newsprint, with handwritten information in columns. Each page is stamped with a sequence number in the upper corners. Inside cover page has “Alameda; Record of Delinquent Tax Sales; Book B”. Next page has an index, reflecting, by street, sewers, and sidewalks, and Delinquent Tax Sales of 1880, 1881, 1882, and 1883, and 1884.
All pages have separated from binding / spine as well as covers. Front and back cover each have a remnant of the spine attached.

History of Object: This is a record of delinquent tax and the location and probable owner of listed properties. Organized by street. Also includes sidewalk and sewer records. Book B.
