Description: Plasticized button with metal backs and pins, enclosing a paper with slogan. A: small button, with in black type on off-white paper the text 'I'm a Booster for the New Alameda High School'. Verso has a maker's label from a business in San Francisco. B: featuring an image of a building on orange-yellow background, stating ‘Alameda High school centennial 1874-1974’. C. featuring a similar image as B, but image and text in dark green on bright yellow background, stating 'Vote Yes on A & B, June 6 '78.
Size: Diameter: A: 1 1/2 inches; B, C: 2 1/2 inches.
History of Object: Buttons relating to the High School: A: promoting the new High School, which would be built in 1926; B: commemorating the Centennial of the 1874 founding of the Alameda High School, in 1974; C: promoting ballot measures benefiting the schools in the election of June 1978. The donor had gathered these buttons in a special display box together with the objects from 21.115.23 and 21.115.24.
