Draw-string purse with silk opening & woven cord ties (green colored) Body of purse hand beaded (glass) in multicolored scene depicting shepherd (in 18th century costume) and sheep. Base of purse trimmed in dark green colored glass beaded fringe.
Size: L-11 inches.
History of Object: Beaded draw-string purse that originally belonged to Mrs. Samuel M. Haslett, 1605 Clinton Avenue. She was an old-time resident of Alameda.
