There are 3 oval bevels 3/8“ thick, with a 1/2“ bevel. Under this is a hand-engraved "H" with decoration, each surrounded with bevel border. The background glass is clear. The design is purple with four jewels, boarder is textured glass. This is a very fine delicate window. Size: frame: 36" x 30" History of Object: Leaded art glass window removed from the stair landing of the Henry V. Herbert mansion, 1433 Morton Street, Alameda. Demolished in the early 1970's. Mr. Herbert was an attorney for the Southern Pacific Railroad. Acquired from: Dave Benoit Date: 7-26-86
