Description: An uncirculated color postcard of a building with red doors, and a series of grey cars with green roof parked in front. Cars appear to have black license plates with red lettering. Verso states: 'Alameda Veteran's Memorial Building; Gathering place of veterans of previous wars, and a center of activity for servicemen today. For further information, contact the Alameda Chamber of Commerce, Alameda, Calif. printed in N.Y. At bottom: Mac Iver Studio.'

History of Object: Postcard of the Veteran's Memorial Building, 2203 Central Avenue, completed in 1929, design by Henry H, Meyers, possibly by order of the Chamber of Commerce. Mac Iver Studio was in operation from around 1947 to at least 1979, located at 2421 Santa Clara Ave.
