Description: A hand painted porcelain plate with a design consisting of a yellow and orange rose on a pale blue border. The rim and double handles are in gold. The porcelain is signed: "C.S. Prussia, Peerless" in a green-colored transfer.

History of Object: A cake plate belonging to Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Powell of 1811 Moreland Drive, Alameda.
