A, B: small forms, printed on tan (A) and grey-green paper card stock, with dark blue type, printed on both sides, with text and a few blanks on one side, and a table or grid on the other side.

C. small form on salmon-colored paper card stock, with black type with one side having a postal card lay-out, with the address section stating ‘To the local POSTMASTER’.

History of Object:
Unused or sample forms found among documents in the attic of City Hall, prior to renovations in the 1990s.
A, B: Thrift Declaration cards, to be signed as a statement of intent, and on the reverse, a table to log Thrift Investments, i.e. purchase of Thrift Stamps and War Savings Stamps.
C: Postal card residents would send in to signal to the post office that they would buy Thrift and Savings-Stamps from the postman on Savings Day, Thursday.
Forms are held together with a teardrop-shaped paperclip.
