Description: Blue colored soft covered booklet (directory), with heading in dark blue type "Wednesday Afternoon Club", Alameda, Cal., 1912. The booklet contains 8 pages. A black & white photograph of the membership has been pasted to the front flyleaf of the booklet. The back inside cover has a newspaper clipping for May 11, 1911, telling of a luncheon held by the club.

History of Object: Directory, 1912, of the social & literary club, the Wednesday Afternoon Club, organized, June, 1900, federated, May, 1903. The membership was comprised of leading ladies of the community. The president, Mrs. H. H. Meyers, was the wife a noted Alameda
architect.
