Description: Two leather straps with opening rings mounted to belt attachment for suspending sword from belt. Brown leather. Size: 16½ inches in length.
History of Object: Sword support owned by Lt. Charles Follrath, Company G, Alameda National Guard, died 1913. Follrath family settled in Alameda in the late 1800's, later moving to Oakland. Charles and his father were members of the Alameda Volunteer Fire Department.
