Map is labeled and dated. Descriptions, and in some cases, the names, of businesses are written in. An arrow - possibly a transparent one was on the original - points to one of the buildings kitty corner from the Police station, perhaps 2301 Lincoln Ave. The pages had been stuck together with scotch tape in the past, leaving discolorations because of overlap, and removal of the tape has left minor damage. There are tears, dog-ears, and creases in various places. Size: each: L 17 X W 11 inches; size combined map (without margins): L 14 1/2 X W 38 inches. History of Objects: Map of "The PARK STREET BUSINESS DISTRICT of Alameda, California" (including sections of Santa Clara, Central, Alameda, Encinal), published for "Coldwell, Banker & Co." and and "DRAWN BY JAIME RAMOS-EL 77240 - 7/23/59".
