Description: An iron apple peeler painted green with nickel-plated shaft turned by handle of black-colored wood. Has turn key clamp which secures it to table or drain board. Iron frame of peeler signed with raised lettering "White Mountain Apple", made by Goodell Co., Antrim, N.H., U.S.A. Size: length 9" x width 7".
History of Object: Apple peeler that belonged to the Daniel . Knox family. The late Judge Knox was the second husband of the donor. The Knox family came to Alameda in the 1880's.
