Description: Printed forms with added information handwritten in pen or pencil, all stating 'Received' of or from 'Mrs. Fitch', dating from 1909 to 1916, except for 2, which are from Mr. (Alfred H.) Fitch (January 1914). Six Styles: A. with lithographic image of a house turreted building (1909, January 1910); B. undecorated form with cursive print, signed M. Pallies (1910-1912); C. with lithographic image of a steam locomotive and decorated with leaves, signed M. Pallies (1912-1913); D. design with blower and three leaves at the corner, signed by L.L. Gillogly (1913-1914); E. simple design signed 'L.L. Gillogly'; F. with green background, signed 'L. L. Gillogly.
Sizes: A, B, C, D, E: (approx.) L 3" x W 6"; F: L 3" x W 8".
History of Object: Receipts for rent paid by Mrs. Fitch, of $15.00 for 1808 Lafayette St., owned by M. Pallies (Dec 1909-Dec 1913), and of $20 for 1809 Willow St., owned by L.L. Gillogly (from Jan 1914). The rent for the first month at the Willow Street address was paid in two installments by son Alfred.
