History of Object: Application form for registration of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, formerly German Evangelical Lutheran Church, address 1420 Lafayette Street, to the National Register of Historic Places. The church was constructed in 1891, in gothic revival style, built by Julius E. Kraft, August Herbst, and Daniel McLeod (Herbst & MacLeod). Glass by John Mallon (Pacific Art Glass Works). The historic period of interest ends in 1906, when a parsonage apartment was added. Apparent prompting for the filing of the application was the sale in 2021 of the former parsonage to a private owner.
