(front elevation) of 1330 Caroline Street, Alameda. The house was erected in 1903 for George W. Blethen, by George A.
Scott, builder and A. W. Smith, architect. Cost; $2,800.
The home was purchased August 15, 1924 by Thomas A. & Ellen Hallinan, (parents of the donor), from the widow of the original owner. It was occupied by the Hallinan family until 1957.
