History of Object:
Insignia stating "Brakeman", from the uniform of Harry Hall, gateman, Southern Pacific Red Trains, Alameda, Ca. He was employed by the company for approximately 15 years, until his death at an early age. He was the son of Edward S. & Bertha Hall, old time residents of the East End, and brother of the late Grace Hall Smith.
