Bold type engraving "Mayor’s Challenge Cup, Junior Four Oared Barge Race, Alameda Boat Club. Presented by Mayor H. Noy, 1910". On base of the trophy, incised in the interior "Made and guaranteed by" and below this in a circular hallmark "Meriden, B. Company" and three stars "Rogers Bros. 9143. U.S.A." Size: 13" high, opening of trophy is 8" across, and the base is 8". History of Object: "Mayor's Challenge Cup" presented by Mayor William H. Noy, 1910, 1911, 1912, 1913, 1914.
